Randolph Central School District

The Community

The community is largely rural and is located between Salamanca and Jamestown.  Randolph enjoys strong community support and involvement.  The nine communities that comprise the district are supported by dairy farms, timber and gravel companies, small businesses and an alternative school.  Residents enjoy the scenic rural setting and have access to some of the best outdoor activities in the State including hiking, biking, swimming, and hunting. In addition to skiing at the nearby Holiday Valley Ski Resort in Ellicottville, NY, there are excellent golf courses and State and County parks nearby including Allegany State Park. Fishing is bountiful in the Allegany Reservoir and Chautauqua Lake both within minutes of the school.

The major educational institutions within a short commute are Fredonia SUNY, Jamestown Community College, Jamestown Business College and St. Bonaventure University.  There are an additional seven colleges and universities located in the Buffalo area.  Quality health care and major hospitals are readily accessible to area residents.

The Randolph community and the Board of Education have always had a very high regard for the staff and the quality of the instructional programs.  The community has consistently approved the annual budget and the capital projects associated with the maintenance and improvement of the district’s instructional programs and facilities. Including a recently approved $36 million project that will break ground in 2024.  All of this, combined with a range of housing opportunities, provides the Randolph Central School District with an excellent quality of life for its employees.
