Hello Third Grade Families,
Welcome to another fantastic school year! I am excited to be your 3rd grade teacher this year! Together we will learn all about multiplication, division, fractions, patterns, maps, global communities, plants, animals, lots of reading strategies, and so many other things. There is SO much to learn, but we will have fun collaborating and problem solving along the way!
My name is Mrs. Woodfield. This is my 15th year teaching and fourth year at RCS. Prior to joining the team at RCS, I was a classroom teacher and Reading Specialist in Northern Virginia where I worked with students in grades K-5. I love everything about 3rd grade, so this is a perfect fit! When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, traveling, sports, and enjoying the outdoors!
